From Bradley Eros:
Experiments with the extreme limits of what constitutes cinema:
a provocation. A question? An open argument, perhaps.
Actually, a demonstration of the possibilities of paracinema:
a subtracted or contracted cinema, of everything and nothing.
Black, white, clear, pure color, light, darkness, sound, silence.
Screen, projector, celluloid, frame, flicker, beam, theater, actions, audience.
Radical negations, subversions and meditations.
Cinema lucida, cinema obscura, cinema of absence, invisible cinema.
Cinema concrete, cinema povera, cinema incognita.
Minimal, maximal, material, structural, conceptural, Situationist, Fluxus, Zen.
A range of works beyond abstraction, from the filmless to the
projectorless, all without images.
Zero degree cinema, past and present
New, live, rare & classic works and concepts by:
Baker, Brand, Conrad, Debord, Eros, Fitzgibbon, Gibson,
Iimura, Jarman, Jacobs, Kosugi, Kubelka, Ono, Paik, Perkins,
Recoder, Ruttmann, Sanborn, Seven, Sharits & Sharits.
“Scheherazade would say that black is the most beautiful colour in that Allah
has placed it in the center of the eye.”
- A Thousand and One Nights
“White light cloaks the hidden spectrum of colours within.”
- Goethe, History of Colour Theory

- Eros, atomic cinema
“Stare at the white screen until it becomes black.”

"For a long time now I have felt the Void, but have refused to hurl myself into
The Void. The Void was already within me."

I had the chance this weekend to see 'Untitled (2008)' by Gibson & Recoder. An amazing experience! :-)
