I love the way the colors in the striking top image almost vibrate next to one another. It reminds me of the extreme close-up cinematography of Keir Dullea's eye in the "Infinity and Beyond" segment of 2001: A Space Odyssey.

These are gorgeous images, and the golden, coppery still reminds me of crème brûlée! :)
